Brian Brown
Brian Brown’s real estate career focuses entirely on leasing and relocations. That’s it. 100% of his day is devoted to renters and landlords, atypical of most realtors. The result? A Leasing and Relocation Agent expertly skilled in the nuances of renting, leasing and property management in the San Francisco Bay area, spanning from San Francisco to the Peninsula, Silicon Valley and the South Bay Area. Brian feels privileged to have long, repeat relationships with so many clients and the faith they entrust with his work. He values listening to his client’s needs and working tirelessly to achieve their goals
Having worked for over 15 years in Real Estate, and the last 8 exclusively in rentals, his latest venture is Director of Leasing for Elite Leasing and Relocation. In 2012, Brian was honored with the “Leasing Agent of the Year” award from the San Francisco Apartment Association. Prior to Elite, Brian worked as Senior Leasing and Relocation Agent.
Frequently tapped by local media for his expert pulse on the Bay Area rental market, Brian’s philosophy is to partner with his landlord clients, ensuring they receive the best rents that the market will bear. He masterfully devises creative solutions especially when, inevitably, the market cools off. Landlords trust him to work tirelessly on their behalf, be a skilled listener and offer consummate advice.
Growing up in Ashland, Oregon he developed a love for skiing and the outdoors. He pursued his interests in Restaurant Management with a degree from Northern Arizona University. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 11 years, he then transitioned to Real Estate. In addition to being a business partner with Mahesh, they also make a home together and got married a couple of years ago. In his free time he enjoys cooking for his husband and son.
Mahesh Patki
Mahesh Patki has been translating simple and complex requests into satisfied customers for years. His last position was a VP at KSH Architects in San Francisco, where he gained experience on a range of projects including commercial office, tenant interiors, single and multi-family residential, theater renovations and country clubs.
All those years of successful client management revealed his gift for turning needs and desires into concrete outcomes. His tremendous skill of listening carefully to clients’ concerns and needs coupled with dogged determination and a keen pursuit of detail make him the successful Leasing and Relocation agent that he is today. Patience and a compassionate personality engender his clients’ fondness for recommending him to others.
Mahesh constantly amazes his clients with his ability to shepherd them through some of the most difficult rental situations – from finding housing for an owner and her Great Dane (he’s done it 2 more times) to getting a rental completed in just 1 day to turning a complex financial situation into happy renters.
With his background in architecture, he can swiftly evaluate the pros and cons of a property with an expert eye. Having lived and worked in the Bay Area for 20 years, he is knowledgeable about the real estate market from San Francisco down to the South Bay and Silicon Valley.
Mahesh grew up in Mumbai, India and followed in the esteemed footsteps of his father and grandfather, choosing to become an Architect, as well. He moved to the United States to study Architecture at Cornell University and upon graduating, moved to San Francisco.
Recently, after adopting their 10 year-old son, Mahesh decided to make a transition into Real Estate and join his husband, Brian, at J Wavro Associates before moving to Elite Leasing and Relocation.
As a car aficionado, Mahesh has a collection of over 500 model cars and is the host of the YouTube channel – ‘The Driver Download‘. In his free time he enjoys singing with his Barbershop Chorus group, exercising and serving on the Board of a Fost-Adopt Adoption Agency.
